Job Title: Development Engineer/ Mechanical Engineer
Job Location: Irvine, CA/ San Jose, CA
Job Description:
Assist in the design and development of high-power connectors and cable assemblies
Create and maintain 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks
Support CAE/FEA analysis including thermal, mechanical, and electrical evaluations
Apply GD&T principles and participate in tolerance analysis activities
Work closely with senior engineers, manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams
Support customer technical activities as FAE/SE, including understanding customer requirement, technical communication, and testing support
Participate in prototype builds, validation testing, and engineering documentation
Learn and grow technical capability through active participation in project development
Support project execution through collaboration with global teams and customers
Domestic and international travel may be required for customer support, project reviews, and manufacturing coordination
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
Entry-level candidates or early career engineers are encouraged to apply
Basic knowledge of heat transfer and electrical fundamentals preferred
Exposure to connector design, EV, or data center applications is a plus
Experience or academic background in CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
Familiarity with CAE/FEA tools is desirable
Understanding of GD&T concepts and tolerance analysis fundamentals
Strong teamwork mindset, positive learning attitude, and willingness to grow with projects
Good communication and collaboration skills
Language: English required; Chinese is a plus
