Mechanical Design Engineer

We are actively looking for a Mid-Level Engineer to join a fast-paced engineering team working on oil & gas equipment design and development. This is a hands-on, onsite role in Gainesville, Texas (near DFW) — relocation support can be considered for the right candidate.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
Design electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems under senior guidance
Collaborate with manufacturing for design-for-manufacturing improvements
Prepare project proposals, cost estimates, and BOMs
Manage projects end-to-end (cradle-to-grave ownership)
Support testing, troubleshooting, and field operations
Work with vendors and assist with supply chain activities
🎯 Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
5–10 years of relevant engineering experience
Strong experience with SolidWorks (3D CAD)
Hands-on experience with hydraulic and electromechanical system design
Solid project management and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working with tools and in a practical, hands-on environment
➕ Nice to Have:
Oil & Gas industry experience
Familiarity with ASME standards
Exposure to supply chain/manufacturing processes
📍 Location: Gainesville, TX (Onsite Only – No Remote)
