wWe are hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design, development, analysis, and testing of aerospace safety and restraint systems used on commercial aircraft worldwide
.This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex mechanical design challenges, working hands-on with hardware, and supporting products from concept through production. You'll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer teams to develop and improve aerospace products while supporting testing, analysis, and product enhancements
.We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys figuring out how things work, and takes initiative to identify and solve problems before they become issues

esDesign new aerospace products and modify existing mechanical assemblies based on engineering, customer, and program requiremen
tsCreate and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, engineering drawings, and technical documentation using SolidWor
ksPerform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) within SolidWorks to validate designs and support engineering decisio
nsDevelop and maintain drawing packages, bills of materials (BOMs), assembly documentation, engineering change orders, and technical repor
tsSupport prototype fabrication, assembly, testing, and production implementation activiti
esTroubleshoot design, manufacturing, assembly, quality, and performance-related issu
esCollaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams throughout the product lifecyc
leInterpret and apply customer requirements, aerospace standards, and technical specificatio
nsSupport proposal efforts by generating preliminary design concepts, technical descriptions, cost estimates, and project schedul
esParticipate in design reviews focused on functionality, reliability, manufacturability, safety, and performan

Required Qualificati
onsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipl
ineMinimum of 3 years of mechanical design engineering experie
nceProficiency with SolidWorks

ionStrong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundament
