About Us
We’re an innovative, employee-owned company where every team member has a stake in what we build and how we grow. Our culture blends entrepreneurial thinking with collaborative engineering, giving you the opportunity to see your ideas move from concept to real-world impact. Here, ownership isn’t just a benefit, it’s how we operate every day.

The Role
We’re looking for a skilled and curious Mechanical Engineer with an acumen for testing to join our team. In this role, your primary focus will be mechanical testing, characterization, and analysis of materials and coatings. The ideal candidate will have a desire to gain a deep understanding of material properties and fatigue failure mechanisms that extends far beyond rote data collection. Your work will be instrumental in qualifying coatings and providing material property data for Air Force simulations. Working for a small business, you will also have opportunities to diversify your skillset and grow in your career.

What You’ll Do
· Create detailed test plans and procedures that direct materials testing efforts and define requirements for material property data to be collected
· Define material fabrication and coating process specifications and coordinate with vendors to fabricate material specimens
· Record and analyze test results, including identifying trends, drawing conclusions, and calculating material parameters
· Validate numerical methods and statistics associated with collected test data
· Present results and conclusions to stakeholders in formal meetings and conferences
· Author reports detailing results of conducted research and provide recommendations to stakeholders regarding material properties and potential future research
· Contribute to continuous improvement in test processes and procedures

What You Bring
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s highly preferred
· 3–6 years of experience, preferably including materials testing and research
· Hands-on experience with testing methods, data acquisition, and analysis
· Technical writing experience and the ability to author test plans/procedures and reports
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Ability to balance analytical thinking with practical, hands-on work
· Effective communication and collaboration skills
· Must be U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Nice to Have
· Experience with fatigue testing and associated analysis
· Understanding of high strength steels and finishing processes
· Familiarity with test standards and validation protocols
· Background in material science or fracture mechanics
· Experience with MATLAB and numerical methods

Why Join Us?
· Employee Ownership: Share directly in the success you help create
· Innovative Work: Tackle meaningful engineering challenges with real impact
· Collaborative Culture: Your voice matters—ideas are encouraged and implemented
· Growth Opportunities: Expand your skills into other aspects of small business operation and development
· Stability & Purpose: Be part of a company built for long-term success, not short-term gains
