We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Software Test Engineer who will will develop LabVIEW test programs and scripts for automated systems to test our cameras.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop LabVIEW code to support RED products
Executing device testing/analysis.
Researching and reporting on selected topics.
Interface and support production line
Understand HW/FW test requirements, write test plan and provide test solution
Prepare specifications for production test equipment to be developed by outside vendors
Supports team in testing, calibration, debugging, troubleshooting, and failure analysis investigation.
Provide feedback to design engineering team of suspected design related product issues.
Identify and take ownership of continuous improvement activities
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years systems and test experience in complex environments
Must have at least 3 years’ experience with LabVIEW programming along with familiarity with Python and C++.
Some knowledge with Linux operation system and shell scripts development.
Experience directing and coordinating the implementation of test automation, next generation test platforms, and other test tools
Experience developing software in a team environment using version control, build automation, bug tracking, and similar processes/technologies.
Experienced in creating test plans for highly complex systems
Results oriented with a high degree of accountability, commitment, and responsibility
Experience in planning test cases to ensure full test coverage
Ability to improve testing processes and techniques on a project
Ability to conduct test tool evaluation
Willingness to take on new challenges and view ambiguity as an opportunity to be creative.
Eager to learn and always working to improve your skills and acquire new ones.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience
