The company is a mission-driven innovator dedicated to redefining resource autonomy. They specialize in building advanced, scalable hardware systems that provide essential solutions for decentralized environments, moving rapidly to bridge gaps in existing global infrastructure.

The role
The Manufacturing Engineer will design and optimize production processes for advanced hardware systems. Key responsibilities include leading DFM/DFA initiatives, designing tooling and fixtures, and defining cycle times and quality metrics. You will own continuous improvement efforts to increase throughput and reduce costs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth production ramp-up from first builds through high-rate manufacturing.

The essential requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
2+ years of professional experience in manufacturing or process development.
Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) and experience with tooling and fixture design.
A hands-on mindset comfortable with both process design and shop-floor validation.
Ability to work 100% onsite in Torrance, CA.

What will make you stand out
Candidates with experience in high-volume consumer hardware or complex fluid systems (pumps, valves, pressure vessels) are highly preferred. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, robotics programming, or previous experience in a fast-paced hardware startup will be a significant advantage.
