Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Engineer role based in Rajkot. The Maintenance Engineer will perform routine and corrective maintenance on production and utility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Responsibilities include planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, coordinating repairs, and minimizing downtime. The role involves collaborating with production, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement, maintain maintenance records, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Maintenance Engineer will also assist in equipment installation, commissioning, and upgrades, and recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance and service life.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for industrial machinery and utilities.
Proven experience in Maintenance Engineering, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Hands-on expertise in Preventive Maintenance planning, execution, and documentation.
Working knowledge of Electrical Maintenance for motors, panels, drives, and basic control systems.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
Experience in foundry, investment casting, or precision machining environments is an advantage.
Ability to read technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance schematics.
Strong focus on workplace safety, housekeeping, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to work in shifts or extended hours as required for urgent maintenance needs.
