The Impact You'll Make
As our Electromagnetic Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the design, modeling, and validation of electromagnetic components.
Your impact? Contribute to concept development, analytical and numerical modeling, prototyping, and test correlation for products such as high-speed permanent-magnet electric motors, electromagnetic actuators for magnetic bearing systems and magnetic sensors
You’ll collaborate with functions and take ownership of key processes, helping us move toward a more innovative future.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead design, develop and test validation of innovative cutting-edge electric motors and magnetic bearing systems for high-speed compressors.
Perform electromagnetic modeling (2D/3D Finite Element Analysis) for magnetic circuits, electromagnetic torque/force, flux density, inductance, losses, and thermal loading.
Conduct first-order calculations (magnetic circuits, equivalent circuits, winding factors, saturation, leakage, skin/proximity effect).
Develop and execute system-level tests, such as Power Electronic Drive & Electric Motor systems, and prepare test summaries and reports.
Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, risk assessments, and engineering change processes
What We're Looking For
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics, Physics, Mechatronics, or related field.
Familiarity with EM simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Maxwell, Motor-CAD, JMAG).
2 years of experience with design/analysis of permanent-magnet motors, electromagnetic designs.
Master and/or Doctorate degree is a plus
Critical thinking and problem-solving mind set.
What You'll Get From Us
We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
