JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Lead R&D Engineer/Scientist

Experience: 12 to 20 Years

We are seeking knowledgeable and innovative aircraft propulsion & power system technologies development engineer to join Aerospace Advanced & Applied Technology group; to help us build and deploy cutting-edge technologies that drive business value for Aerospace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for design and development of new technologies for aircraft propulsion engines, power systems & their components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and aerospace engineering and be passionate about advancing engine technology. You will work closely with Product architects & Product chiefs . This role requires a strong understanding of engine performance, material science, thermodynamics, Structural analysis, fluid mechanics & control systems.

Qualifications

Qualification and Experience:

Master’s degree in mechanical / aerospace from a reputed university.
Proven experience in aircraft engine design and development.
Strong understanding of engine performance, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, structural analysis, materials science, and control systems.
Proficiency in CAD software and mechanical simulation tools
Expert in interpreting & understanding design analysis reports
Proven ability in bringing new design concepts & technology insertions into the products
Innovative and creative mindset
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of development milestones.
Skilled in coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Desired Skills

Experience in aircraft propulsion systems development, testing and certification processes.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements governing aerospace engine design and certification (e.g., FAA, EASA).
Familiarity with aircraft engine diagnostics and maintenance practices.
