We’re passionate about designing and delivering top-notch digital experiences for our clients — and their customers — and helping them create efficiencies using data and technology. But what’s most important about us is that we have a diverse team of experts all dedicated to getting clients from goals to outcomes — and that’s where you come in.
This is a hybrid position. Will need to work 3 days a week in offices located in Columbus, OH.
As a Lead QA Engineer, you’ll be joining our team of talented experts. The right candidate will possess the following experience:
Key Responsibilities.
Lead and mentor QA analysts and engineers embedded within agile teams or value streams
Define and evolve the quality strategy, standards, and best practices across the agile line
Partner and collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, and Engineering Leads and Developers to ensure quality is built into requirements and design including understanding of requirements and Gherkin acceptance criteria
Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting across sprints, releases, and program increments
Drive test automation strategy and integration into CI/CD pipelines
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases aligned to user stories and features
Ensure adequate coverage of functional, integration, regression, performance, and non-functional testing
Monitor and analyze quality metrics and test results to identify trends (defect trends, coverage, automation rates, escape defects) and drive continuous improvement
Manage risk by identifying quality gaps, dependencies, and systemic issues across teams
Support release readiness assessments and go-live decisions
Foster a quality-first, shift-left mindset aligned with agile values
Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
Validate functionality, integrations, data integrity, and non-functional requirements (performance, security, usability)
Identify, document, and track defects using ADO; partner with teams to ensure timely resolution
Perform regression, system, integration, and UAT support testing as needed
Advocate for best practices in testability, test automation, and agile quality standards
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand processes, goals, and pain points
Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements using agile techniques
Decompose requirements into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and PI/release planning activities
Act as a liaison between business, product, and delivery teams to ensure shared understanding
Analyze data, metrics, and outcomes to inform decision-making and prioritization
Identify dependencies, risks, and impacts across teams or value streams
Support continuous improvement by inspecting processes and recommending enhancements
Assist with UAT planning, execution, and defect triage when needed
Ensure solutions align with organizational standards, compliance, and strategic objectives
Experience Required
Azure DevOps, Jira
Experience working with Gherkin acceptance criteria
Ability to run automation tests (Selenium, Playwright)
CMS experience required (Sitecore is a plus)
Good understanding of SQL, XML, SOAP/REST APIs
