Key Responsibilities
Design and develop power converter topologies such as DC-DC (Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost), Isolated Converters, Inverters, PFC, LLC, PSFB, Push-Pull and On-Board Chargers.
Perform schematic design, component selection, and BOM optimization.
Lead power stage design, including magnetics, gate drive, protection, and sensing circuits.
Conduct simulation and analysis (LTspice / PSpice / MATLAB) for performance and stability.
Support PCB layout design and reviews focusing on high-power, high-frequency design practices
Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation of prototypes.
Ensure compliance with efficiency, thermal, EMI/EMC, and safety requirements.
Execute design verification and reliability testing (thermal, load, stress tests).
Support DFMEA, PFMEA, and design reviews.
Work closely with firmware, mechanical, and system teams for project delivery
Work closely with DE/NPD, QA, Validation for Mass Production activities
Provide manufacturing and field support during production ramp-up.
Ideal Candidate
Overall 6 to 12 Years of experience in Power Electronics with experience in design, develop, and validate high-efficiency power conversion systems.
B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / PhD in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering /Power Electronics or related disciplines
We are looking for a skilled Power Electronics Engineer to design, develop, and validate high-efficiency power conversion systems.
Role involves end-to-end ownership of power electronic hardware—from concept and design to testing, validation, and production support.
Strong understanding of power electronics fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with MOSFETs, IGBTs, gate drivers, controllers, and magnetics.
Knowledge of switch-mode power supply (SMPS), Inverter , Battery Management System (BMS), DC-DC Converter, PFC, LLC design.
Experience with analog and Digital control loops and compensation.
Proficiency in schematic capture tools (Altium / OrCAD / KiCad).
Practical experience using lab equipment: Oscilloscope, Power analyzer, Electronic load, Multimeter
Understanding of thermal management and derating principles.
Experience in EV systems, BMS, chargers, or traction inverters.
Familiarity with EMI/EMC standards (CISPR, IEC, ISO).
Knowledge of safety standards (UL, IEC, ISO).
Exposure to digital power control and microcontroller-based SMPS, DC-DC Converter and Charger.
Experience with high-voltage and high-current designs.
