Compensation: $82/hr
Availability: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. This role will last for 1 year and evaluated from there.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Lead Electronic Verification & Validation Engineer to drive the verification and validation of advanced sensing technologies used in sophisticated off-highway equipment. This role serves as a critical link between product design and real-world performance, ensuring that electronic systems consistently meet expectations for reliability, quality, and performance in demanding operating environments.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electronic product development, validation methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration. This position offers the opportunity to influence product quality from concept through release while helping shape validation best practices across the organization.

Job Duties:
Verification & Validation Strategy
Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive Design Verification Plans and Reports (DVP&R).
Translate product requirements, design risks, and FMEA findings into effective validation strategies.
Define test objectives, acceptance criteria, and validation coverage requirements.
Ensure verification and validation activities align with product performance, reliability, and quality goals.
Test Planning & Execution
Plan and coordinate validation activities across simulation, laboratory, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), environmental, durability, and field testing environments.
Establish test schedules, resource requirements, and readiness criteria.
Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external testing partners to ensure successful execution.
Monitor testing progress and proactively address technical challenges or schedule risks.
Data Analysis & Product Release Support
Review and analyze test data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and traceability.
Evaluate validation results against requirements and acceptance criteria.
Identify root causes of failures and provide technical recommendations for corrective actions.
Support engineering and leadership teams with data-driven product release decisions.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner closely with mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, systems, and quality engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Drive alignment between validation activities, development schedules, and program milestones.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance validation processes, efficiency, and consistency.
Mentor team members and promote best practices in verification and validation methodologies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience supporting electronic product development and validation activities.
Strong understanding of verification and validation methodologies.
Knowledge of reliability engineering principles and product qualification processes.
Experience applying FMEA outputs to develop risk-based validation plans.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience validating IMUs, MEMS sensors, angle sensors, or related electronic sensing technologies.
Background supporting off-highway, construction, agricultural, industrial, automotive, or heavy equipment applications.
Experience with environmental, durability, reliability, or accelerated life testing.
Hands-on experience conducting laboratory testing, field testing, or machine-level validation.
Familiarity with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing environments.
Experience working within structured product development and quality systems.
