For our client, we are seeking a Lead ASIC Digital Design Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Aerospace & Defense environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $176,512 – $187,000 annually
Responsibilities
Collaborate with team leaders to identify problems and solutions
Develop and define microarchitecture for new IP to optimize various performance metrics
Implement and simulate IP blocks in RTL using SystemVerilog, VHDL, and other languages
Integrate complex systems with both company and third-party IP
Contribute to design success from specification to production
Apply state-of-the-art IP to ASIC and FPGA products
Define and improve high-quality design methods and processes
Mentor and guide junior ASIC design engineers
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field required
8+ years of job-related experience, or Master's degree plus 6 years experience
Agile experience preferred
Ability to obtain Department of Defense Secret security clearance
U.S. citizenship required due to nature of work
