The Launch Engineer is responsible for the successful plant-level execution of new product launches and engineering changes within a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. This role serves as the operational lead for program launch activities, ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and staffing are prepared to meet production readiness, quality, and customer timing requirements.
The Launch Engineer works cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Materials, and Program Management to transition programs from development into stable mass production. The role focuses on ensuring production processes are validated, capable, and aligned with customer expectations while supporting operational readiness across the facility.
