Join a leading global investment bank's Equities Data team as a KDB/Q Developer, building and maintaining analytics infrastructure for sales, trading, and research teams.
You'll design and develop APIs, visualisation layers, and back-testing frameworks, while contributing to core firm-wide components. Working closely with trading desks and strategists, you'll translate business requirements into high-performance, production-grade solutions.
What you'll do:
Build and maintain KDB/Q analytics and data infrastructure
Develop back-testing and simulation frameworks
Drive optimisation of models and production feeds
Support client and trader education through high-quality content
Contribute to cross-functional delivery with strats, compliance, and technology teams
What we're looking for:
Strong Q/KDB and Python development experience
Proven background in large-scale tick data handling and e-trading systems
Experience delivering production-quality infrastructure
Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Quantitative degree (Masters or PhD preferred)
Knowledge of equities, rates, credit, or FX markets advantageous
