Summary

The Integration & Verification Engineer is responsible for ensuring that system and customer requirements are objectively verified through planned integration and test activities across electromechanical products incorporating software, electronics, and mechanics.

What You'll Do

Requirements & Verification

Translate system and customer requirements into verifiable test cases with clear pass/fail criteria
Define verification strategies across component, subsystem, and system levels
Ensure bidirectional traceability between requirements, test cases, and results (e.g., requirements ↔ test ↔ evidence)

Test Planning & Execution

Develop and maintain integration and verification test plans
Coordinate test execution across multiple parallel projects
Review test results, assess system‑level risk, and recommend corrective actions

Change & Issue Management

Assess verification impact of requirement changes
Communicate risks, tradeoffs, and test status clearly to stakeholders
Support root cause analysis for system‑level failures

Who You Are

BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Experience defining verification approaches from system specifications
Experience working with requirements‑based verification or V‑model development
Experience verifying integrated hardware/software/mechanical system
Familiarity with requirements management or traceability tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion, Jama, DVP&R, PLM systems)
Experience maintaining traceability between requirements, tests, and results
Strong mechanical design and testing knowledge
Experience with electromechanical systems; HVAC or building automation experience is a plus
Additional test management training or certification desired
Theoretical and practical experience in the conception of integration and verification procedures
Excellent track record in product verification and/or project management
Proven ability to innovate in an application-oriented manner
Strong willingness to learn
Structured and detail-oriented working style
German language skills an advantage

Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The base pay for this position ranges from $100,000 - $115,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 10% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
