Lean Frameworks: Deploy 5S workplace organization and Lean methodologies to minimize floor clutter, streamline transitions, and shorten production lead times.
2. Inventory Control & Costing Architecture
Inventory Optimization: Oversee material provisioning and tracking logs to prevent both floor shortages and excess accumulation, matching live counts to downstream consumption.
Costing Analytics: Formulate precision costing matrices based on raw materials, active machine runtimes, cycle overheads, and manual labor input to asist with company bidding and financial planning.
Leftover Optimization: Define structural planning logic to run cutting operations and trim batches with the explicit mandate of minimizing residual waste and leftover pieces.
3. Tracking, Systems Data, & Follow-up
Order Progress Follow-up: Maintain tight administrative tracking from initial component requests down to final QA and packaging, managing process dependencies seamlessly.
ERP Management: Maintain absolute data integrity by recording and auditing live material transactions, production counts, and batch allocations within enterprise ERP Systems.
Advanced Spreadsheet Reporting: Synthesize raw industrial floor metrics into high-level performance dashboards via MS Excel and Google Sheets utilizing cross-referencing, multi-criteria formulas, and automated trend visualization.
Required Qualifications & Competencies
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Apparel Production Technology, Textiles Management, or an equivalent technical manufacturing discipline.
Professional Experience: 3 to 6 years of active field experience as an IE or Process Engineer specializing inside an apparel trims, hardware, garment accessories, or packaging manufacturing environment.
Technical Skillset: Proven engineering competency around machinery operations and processing parameters for automated logo application, industrial laser setups, braiding equipment, and automated dipping tanks.
Systems Fluency: Strong working knowledge of corporate ERP software systems paired with advanced operational skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (including index-matching, complex logical functions, pivot tables, and layout design).
