Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Heavy Engineering role located in Kalol Taluka. The role involves overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes for valves and related components, working closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient and reliable operations. Daily responsibilities include reviewing engineering drawings, coordinating with design and R&D teams, monitoring shop floor activities, and supporting implementation of process improvements and cost-saving initiatives. The position requires active participation in problem-solving for technical issues, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards, and preparing reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, engaging with suppliers and customers when needed, and supporting project execution from planning through delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering skills, with experience in heavy engineering or valve/industrial equipment production.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and problem-solving abilities to interpret technical data, analyze process performance, and support root cause investigations.
Candidates should possess effective Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and track engineering and production activities within defined timelines and budgets.
Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare technical documentation, and interact with customers or auditors.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, familiarity with quality and safety standards (e.g., ISO, API), and knowledge of metallurgical processes or valve design are highly beneficial.
Experience in an integrated manufacturing environment, proficiency with CAD or engineering software, and a strong focus on workplace safety and continuous improvement are preferred.
