What You Will Do

Test Fixture Design & Station Bring-Up

Develop and deliver Test Fixture Design Packages including mechanical/electrical design files, assembly instructions, and validation protocols for each new product or fixture refresh

Execute Test Station Bring-Up activities including calibration records, GR&R (Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility) studies, and correlation data for each new station deployment or relocation

Testing & Lab Capabilities

Perform Environmental Testing including Thermal Shock, HALT , and related stress tests

Conduct Mechanical Testing using Instron, Drop, and Vibration equipment

Execute ESD Testing per applicable standards

Operate Metrology equipment including CT Scan and CMM

Perform FTIR / Material Analysis for material characterization and failure analysis

Carry out Electrical/Mechanical Rework as needed for test sample preparation or corrective actions

Manage Equipment Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and execution

Maintain Equipment Calibrations ensuring all instruments are within calibration windows

What You Will Bring

Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field

3–5+ years of experience in a hardware test lab or validation environment

Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in mechanical and electrical fixture/test station design (CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

Hands-on experience with environmental, mechanical, and ESD test equipment

Strong knowledge of metrology tools (CT Scan, CMM) and material analysis (FTIR)

Demonstrated experience with equipment calibration, PM programs, and GR&R studies

Excellent documentation skills — SOPs, test reports, calibration records

Familiarity with lab safety, ESD controls, and quality management systems

Pay Range: $120000 -$130000.

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements

This role is considered an on-site position located in New York

You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
