Job Description:
We are seeking skilled SKU Qualification Leads/Engineers to support end-to-end qualification and validation of next-generation server platforms and hardware components. The role involves hardware validation, firmware testing, performance analysis, debugging, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure platform quality and release readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute qualification activities for server SKUs and hardware components including BIOS, BMC, CPU, GPU, RAM, CPLD, FPGA, DIMM, HDD/SSD/NVMe, and NICs
Perform hardware validation, stability testing, performance benchmarking, and issue triaging across server platforms
Validate firmware, drivers, and OS compatibility across Windows, Ubuntu, Hyper-V, and VM environments
Execute storage validation covering RAID, Smart Array/HBA controllers, DAS, SAN, and drive qualification
Analyze network performance metrics such as throughput, latency, and bandwidth utilization
Use stress and performance tools including Prime95, Intel pTAT, IOmeter, FIO, Ntttcp, SOC Perf, and Latte for system validation
Debug hardware/software failures and collaborate with ODM/OEM and engineering teams for issue resolution
Support server bring-up, boot flow validation, PCI/PCIe validation, and protocol testing (SCSI, SAS, SATA)
Drive automation, documentation, test reporting, and release readiness activities
Ensure timely tracking of bugs, validation status, and qualification sign-offs
Required Skills
Strong understanding of server architecture and hardware qualification processes
Experience with scripting/automation tools (Python)
Hands-on experience with BIOS, BMC, CPU, GPU, memory, storage, and networking technologies
Good knowledge of storage concepts including RAID, SAN, DAS, HBA controllers, and drive technologies
Understanding of network performance validation and troubleshooting
Experience with performance/stress tools and hardware diagnostics utilities
Strong knowledge of firmware, drivers, PCI/PCIe, and server boot processes
Proficiency in Windows/Linux OS installation, Hyper-V, and virtualization testing
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
