Hardware Test Engineer
Onsite in San Diego, CA
12+ Months contract
Rate: $362-450/day on W2 Incl.
We are seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to support the testing, characterization, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic and semiconductor systems.
Key Responsibilities
Test and debug digital, analog, RF, and semiconductor/PMIC circuits.
Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and perform component-level failure analysis.
Work hands-on with oscilloscopes, power meters, analyzers, and automated test equipment.
Perform hardware bring-up, characterization, and test board debugging.
Analyze test/characterization data using statistical tools.
Develop and debug basic test scripts using Python, VB, or similar languages.
Support yield, test-time, reliability, and quality improvements.
Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong electrical/electronic fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
Basic programming and data analysis experience.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
