We are looking for
Role: Hardware PCB Designer
Required Technical Skill Set: ECAD Tool Expertise, High-Speed PCB Design (DDR, PCIe, Ethernet),Signal Integrity, Power Integrity Analysis
Desired Experience Range: 5–8 Years
Location of Requirement: Pune
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop complex multilayer PCB layouts for analog, digital, mixed-signal, power electronics, and high-speed circuits.
Convert schematics into PCB layouts while adhering to design rules, signal integrity requirements, EMC/EMI guidelines, and manufacturing constraints.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to define stack-ups, routing strategies, impedance control, and component placement.
Perform PCB floor planning, component placement, routing, and design optimization.
Generate fabrication and assembly files including Gerber, ODB++, IPC-2581, pick-and-place files, assembly drawings, and BOM documentation.
Conduct DRC/ERC checks and participate in design reviews.
Work closely with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to resolve manufacturing issues.
Support prototype builds, board bring-up activities, debugging, and validation.
Ensure compliance with IPC standards and DFM, DFA, and DFT practices.
Maintain PCB libraries, footprints, and layout standards.
Support engineering change management and design release processes.
Required Skills
Strong expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, Mentor Graphics Xpedition/PADS, or similar ECAD tools.
Experience with multilayer PCB designs (4–16+ layers).
Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as DDR, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART.
Controlled impedance routing and differential pair routing expertise.
Understanding of EMI/EMC design guidelines.
Strong grasp of signal integrity and power integrity concepts.
Knowledge of IPC-2221, IPC-7351, IPC-A-600 standards.
Experience in PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
