We are looking for “Hardware Engineer, DCS” to be based in Pune, India. This position reports to “Engineering Manager, Projects”. In this position you will have opportunity to work as an individual or in a team who possess technical responsibility for the delivery of Valmet DNA Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
Work Experience
In this position, you will be required followings:
You must have experience on systems and Hardware engineering in DCS field.
Major Responsibilities
Develop and standardize DCS control cabinets and field boxes for product-based solutions.
Prepare and maintain:
Standard GA drawings and panel layouts
Typical wiring schematics and design templates
Standard Bill of Materials (BOM) libraries.
Develop and maintain component shapes and stencils.
Co-operate with global resources
To Succeed This Role, You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Electronic Engineering
2–5 years of experience in control panel design (DCS/PLC)
Strong experience in AutoCAD / EPLAN / equivalent design tools.
Good understanding of:
Industrial automation systems (DCS/PLC architectures)
Panel design standards and electrical design principles
IO systems, marshalling, and control philosophies
Ability to think in terms of standardization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Exposure to global DCS platforms.
Knowledge of design for manufacturing and cost optimization
Familiarity industrial compliance requirements
Experience in developing reusable engineering libraries/templates
