About ULOOK
ULOOK is a deep-tech company pioneering an Autonomous RF Signal Intelligence Stack from orbit. We develop autonomous satellite swarms and advance RF sensing technologies which transform faint electromagnetic emissions into real-time intelligence. Utilising our proprietary technology we identify, geolocate and fingerprint complex signals in environments where traditional sensors fail.
We operate at the intersection of defense, space, and intelligence, providing global partners with advanced RF, maritime, and aerial surveillance capabilities, strengthening security and situational awareness across all domains.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to design, develop, and validate critical RF and mixed-signal hardware that forms the physical foundation of ULOOK’s spaceborne sensing systems.
In this role, you will work closely with RF, systems, embedded, and algorithm teams to translate system requirements into robust, manufacturable hardware ranging from schematic design through layout, lab validation, and integration. You will own hardware blocks end-to-end and support them through prototype bring-up, testing, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement hardware systems, including SoC based digital baseband boards, transmitters, receivers, power amplifiers, LNAs, and supporting analog circuitry
Own schematic capture and design reviews, ensuring signal integrity, power integrity, and manufacturability.
Plan and execute validation, characterisation, and compliance testing to meet regulatory and mission requirements.
Collaborate with systems, firmware, and algorithms teams to integrate hardware into complete end-to-end platforms.
Document designs, test results, and engineering decisions to support long-term scalability.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Aerospace, RF Engineering or a related fields.
3 to 5 years of experience in hardware design and development for complex systems.
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, and electromagnetic principles.
Proficiency with simulation tools such as SPICE, ALTIUM, or equivalent.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug hardware across schematic, layout, and system levels.

Preferred Skills and Experience
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave Engineering, Communications, or a closely related field, with a strong focus on hardware design.
Prior work on complex, multi-board or tightly integrated RF systems, from architecture through validation.
Exposure to space, aerospace, defence, or high-reliability hardware programs, including design for environmental and operational constraints.
Experience collaborating with RF, and embedded teams to integrate hardware into real time systems.

Why Join ULOOK
Work on frontier hardware problems at the intersection of RF, space systems, and autonomous intelligence.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team spanning RF, systems, algorithms, and space engineering.
See direct feedback from real operational data, not just simulations or assumptions.
