Position: Hardware Engineer
Location: : Longmont, CO (Onsite)
Job type: Fulltime
Job Description:
Performs design and development engineering assignments related to hardware products and systems including development of new products or updates to existing products. Work may encompass one or more areas of engineering including electronic design, or other related fields. Duties may include research, evaluation, development, and application of new processes and methods into products. May be responsible for establishing and conducting testing routines, developing or executing project plans, budgets, and schedules, and documentation of work and results.

Hardware Engineer role MUST-HAVE skills:
PCB design exposure (critical)
Schematic design (OrCAD/Altium/Cadence) PCB layout understanding
Analog + Digital circuit design
Board bring-up (very important)
First power-on
Debugging new boards
Hardware development testing
Validate design (not production testing)
Troubleshooting at electrical level
Signals, voltage rails, clocks etc.
Lab debug tools
Oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power supplies
R&D / product development environment
