We are looking for an experienced Hardware Design Lead who can architect, design, and industrialize embedded hardware systems for advanced sensing technologies.
Role Overview
You will lead the hardware development of smart sensors and instruments for applications such as:
● pH / ORP
● Conductivity
● Dissolved Oxygen (Electrochemical & Optical)
● Chlorine & Ion Sensors
These systems will integrate seamlessly with PLCs and industrial automation platforms, including leading industrial products & ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
● Design and develop PCB hardware for embedded sensing systems
● Integrate microcontrollers, DSPs, and precision analog front-end circuits
● Develop smart sensor electronics with fieldbus and Ethernet-based communication
● Build and validate prototype evaluation boards (PoC to Production)
● Architect systems for industrial-grade reliability, accuracy, and repeatability
● Lead hardware validation, debugging, and failure analysis
● Collaborate with global R&D partners and cross-functional teams (Hardware, Software, and Mechanical)
● Define and execute System Design Requirements (SDRS) and technical documentation
● Drive cost optimization, manufacturability, and project timelines
Technical Requirements
Core Hardware & Embedded Design
● Strong experience with ARM Cortex, RISC-V, or similar architectures
● Expertise in analog and digital circuit design for high-precision, low-noise systems
● Hands-on experience in PCB design, layout, signal integrity, and power management
● Experience with IC selection, ASICs, and sensor interfacing
Communication & Industrial Protocols
● Ethernet, TCP/IP (IPv4/IPv6)
● PROFINET, CAN, SPI, I²C, UART
● Familiarity with Ethernet-APL and Single Pair Ethernet (SPE)
● Exposure to WLAN, Bluetooth, and LTE communication modules
Validation & Debugging
● Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and JTAG tools
● Root cause analysis and failure diagnostics
● Hardware validation under industrial operating conditions
Compliance & Industrialization
● Knowledge of CE, IP Ratings, and ATEX standards (preferred)
● Design for miniaturization, scalability, and production readiness
● Electromechanical system integration
Embedded Software (Preferred)
● Working knowledge of C/C++ and embedded firmware development
● Exposure to RTOS platforms such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or QNX

Ideal Candidate
● 8–10+ years of experience in hardware design, embedded electronics, or industrial instrumentation
● Experience in industrial sensors, automation systems, or precision measurement technologies
● Proven ability to lead projects from concept and prototyping through production and scale-up
● Comfortable collaborating with international technology and R&D partners
● Strong ownership mindset with deep engineering expertise and system-level thinking
