SENIOR HARDWARE ENGINEER - Hyderabad, India (On-Site)

ABOUT RAPID CIRCUITRY
Rapid Circuitry is a leading embedded hardware & IoT development company. Since 2020, we've delivered cutting-edge solutions for medical devices, industrial IoT, audio, and consumer electronics. Our portfolio includes medical diagnostic devices (95-97% accuracy), industrial IoT infrastructure, and miniaturized consumer devices. We partner with TI, NXP, Renesas, and Analog Devices to deliver market-leading solutions.

THE ROLE
We seek an exceptional Senior Hardware Engineer to lead end-to-end hardware development on challenging, non-monotonous R&D projects. You'll own the complete hardware lifecycle—from requirements to manufacturing—across multiple industries. You'll mentor junior engineers and collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and test teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own complete hardware development: architecture, schematic design, PCB layout (up to 8-layer), prototyping, validation, manufacturing support
• Design signal integrity-critical circuits with mixed-signal interfaces and power distribution systems
• Integrate advanced SoCs (ARM Cortex, TI, NXP) for IoT products with edge computing capabilities
• Drive FCC, CE, and FDA/ISO 13485 compliance
• Select optimal components and manage supply chain
• Mentor junior hardware engineers on design best practices
• Collaborate across firmware, mechanical design, test engineering, and manufacturing teams

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• 4-10 years professional hardware design experience
• 3+ shipped production products from concept to market
• Expert proficiency with Altium Designer and KiCad
• Multi-layer PCB design (4-8 layers) with signal/power integrity expertise
• Complex analog and mixed-signal circuit design
• SoC/microcontroller selection and integration (ARM Cortex, TI, NXP, STM32)
• IoT connectivity design (WiFi, BLE, cellular)
• Sensor interface and signal conditioning design
• FCC, CE, and medical device compliance experience
• SPICE simulation and design verification

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Design Tools: Altium Designer, KiCad, SPICE
Microcontrollers: ARM Cortex M/A series, TI (C2000, MSP430), NXP Kinetis/LPC/i.MX, STM32
Connectivity: WiFi, Bluetooth/BLE, Cellular (LTE/5G preferred)
Sensors: IMU, environmental, proximity, audio/microphone, optical
Standards: FCC/CE/UL/CSA, ISO 13485 (medical), RoHS/REACH

NICE-TO-HAVE
FPGA design, firmware development (C/C++, RTOS, Linux), RF design, automotive (ISO 26262), aerospace (DO-254), security design, published papers
