About the Role
As a Junior Hardware Engineer, you will support schematic design, PCB development, hardware testing, and board bring-up while gaining hands-on experience in audio signal paths, wireless connectivity, and battery-powered systems. You will work closely with senior hardware and embedded software engineers throughout the product development lifecycle in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
Support hardware design from concept to production for embedded and consumer electronic products.
Assist in hardware architecture, block diagrams, and system-level design under guidance.
Design and review schematics and PCB layouts for analog, digital, power, and mixed-signal circuits. Support component selection, BOM preparation, and cost-performance optimization. Perform board bring-up, testing, debugging, and hardware validation.
Collaborate with embedded software teams on hardware-software integration and system debugging.
Help ensure designs meet signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, and thermal requirements. Support reliability testing, pre-compliance testing, manufacturing bring-up, yield analysis, and failure investigation. Coordinate with vendors and component suppliers as required.
Maintain design documentation, test reports, and revision records.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
1+ years of hands-on experience in hardware design or development for embedded or consumer electronics (including internships, academic projects, or startup experience).
Good knowledge of analog, digital, power, and mixed-signal circuit design. Experience with microcontrollers or SoCs; exposure to PMICs, audio codecs, or amplifiers is a plus. Understanding of interfaces such as I²C, SPI, UART, and I²S/TDM. Exposure to Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or RF hardware; antenna integration knowledge is an advantage.
Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, or similar. Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and basic logic/protocol analyzers.
Working knowledge of power management, battery-powered systems, and charging circuits.
Basic understanding of EMI/EMC, ESD protection, signal integrity, and grounding practices.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
Self-motivated, proactive, eager to learn, and committed to delivering high-quality work within timelines.

Preferred Qualifications
Internship or project experience in embedded hardware or consumer electronics.
Basic knowledge of Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, RF, audio hardware, amplifiers, microphones, or codecs. Familiarity with EMI/EMC, signal integrity, DFM/DFT principles, and prototype assembly, rework, or soldering.
