Job Description – Hardware Design Engineer (BMS / Power Electronics)
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Client: Clarios
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop hardware for DC-DC converters, inverters, and power electronics systems.
Work on Battery Management System (BMS) hardware design and EV electronic components.
Develop and validate power electronics circuit designs for automotive and EV applications.
Perform schematic design, circuit analysis, component selection, and hardware integration.
Support design verification, testing, debugging, and validation activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, mechanical, and system engineers.
Ensure designs meet automotive quality, safety, and reliability standards.
Participate in prototype development and support product improvements.
Required Skills
Strong experience in hardware design for power electronics.
Hands-on experience with DC-DC converters, inverters, and BMS hardware.
Knowledge of EV components and automotive electronics.
Experience in power electronics circuit design and validation.
Understanding of schematic capture, PCB design, and hardware testing.
Familiarity with automotive standards and embedded hardware systems.
