Our client, an innovative technology company specializing in the design and development of advanced embedded hardware systems, is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team. Requirements:
3+ years of experience designing embedded hardware or digital electronic systems.
Strong understanding of digital electronics, processors, circuit boards, and embedded computing platforms.
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
Familiarity with electronic test equipment and hardware validation techniques.
Ability to interpret electronic schematics, logic diagrams, and technical documentation.
Understanding of high-speed digital design principles and signal integrity.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and work independently.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Altium Designer or similar PCB design software.
Experience designing products for regulated or compliance-driven industries.
Familiarity with EMC/EMI, FCC, CE, or other applicable design standards.
Experience with signal integrity, power integrity, simulation, or hardware modeling.
Analog circuit design experience.
Power supply design and power management experience.
Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) experience.
Experience working with multiple processor architectures such as x86-64, ARM, or RISC-V.
Experience supporting products from prototype through full-scale production.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and validate digital embedded hardware systems and circuit board assemblies.
Participate in product research and development activities, including architecture, component selection, and hardware design.
Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and supporting engineering documentation using industry-standard CAD tools.
Partner with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Create and maintain functional specifications, manufacturing documentation, and engineering change documentation.
Develop production test procedures, fixtures, and validation processes to support manufacturing and quality objectives.
Troubleshoot hardware designs and perform design verification, functional testing, and root cause analysis.
Support product improvements, manufacturing activities, and ongoing engineering initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
