About the Company
Dirac is on a mission to reindustrialize The West. American manufacturing is broken—burdened by inefficiency, bureaucracy, and outdated processes. We are pioneering Model-Based Manufacturing, where context-aware production planning informs design in real-time—eliminating the disconnect between engineering and manufacturing. Our platform automates what can be automated and captures tribal knowledge where automation falls short, creating a seamless system for building at scale. We're building the tools modern manufacturers need to move faster and build better, the pillars of a more abundant future.
We are a mission-driven company of world-class engineers and operators with a culture of high trust, high agency, and high autonomy.
How You Will Contribute:
Own critical systems—design, build, and scale them.
Work directly with manufacturers to ensure our tools solve real problems.
Operate in high-agency mode—if it needs doing, you do it.
Requirements:
You’ve built something - a project, an assignment, something physical, an open source library - and you can explain it conversationally.
You want to learn - and build, and re-learn and re-build. You believe your best work from 6 months ago is mediocre now and want to build it all again.
You find, design, build and complete work that no one brought to you - because you recognize the need for the work to be done, and done well.
You know how to debug and troubleshoot issues while taking reported information at face value - digging deeper to find the root cause.
You understand how to create and mature a compliance program like CMMC, ISO, SOC 2, etc..
You can work with teams org wide (Engineering, Product, Finance, Operations, Legal, etc.) to maintain compliance/security/risk posture and its maturity.
You have the ability to parse programming/scripting/configuration language(s), container technologies (Kubernetes/Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) to derive compliance and security policy/procedures/evidence.
You want to implement compliance procedures to match policy and maintain/provide evidence to auditors.
You are eager to do what one must to win.
Nice to Have:
Background in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial software.
Familiarity with working with teams org wide (Engineering, Product, Finance, Operations, Legal, etc.)
Familiarity with “as Code” practices (Infrastructure as Code, etc.)
Experience with Security operations (Cookies, CSRF, CSP, etc.)
You know what RBAC, OAuth, JWT, etc. is.
Salary & Compensation:
$90,000 - $115,000 + Stock Options
Benefits:
Health, Dental, Vision Insurance: Comprehensive coverage to ensure you and your family stay healthy.
Generous Paid Time Off: Enjoy flexible, high-trust PTO and sick leave.
Stock Options: Participate in our success with a generous stock option plan.

Must be a U.S. Person to apply.
