Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

As a Functional Test Pattern Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, debugging, and optimizing functional test patterns for complex semiconductor and SoC products. You will work closely with Test Engineering and Bench teams to troubleshoot RTL simulation issues, enable successful silicon bring-up, and ensure seamless transition to volume production.

Develop and maintain functional test patterns based on design specifications and product requirements.
Debug and analyse RTL simulation failures and drive issue resolution with Design and Verification teams.
Execute and validate functional patterns in RTL simulation environments.
Support Test Engineering (TE) teams in vector bring-up and debug during silicon validation.
Work closely with Bench and Silicon Validation teams to enable successful pattern execution on silicon.
Analyse pattern mismatches and silicon failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Develop automation utilities and scripts to improve pattern generation, execution, and debug efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Validation, Product Engineering, and Test Engineering.
