FPGA Support Engineer

About the Role
A technology company is seeking an FPGA Engineer to support the development, integration, and optimization of FPGA-based digital systems. This role will work closely with engineering teams to support FPGA implementations, assist with debugging and validation efforts, and contribute to hardware development projects in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
Support development and integration of FPGA-based digital systems
Develop and debug RTL code using Verilog/SystemVerilog
Assist with simulation, validation, and debugging activities
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
Support synthesis, timing analysis, and FPGA bring-up efforts
Troubleshoot hardware and system-level issues
Maintain technical documentation and validation records

Qualifications
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
3+ years of FPGA or digital design experience
Experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog
Familiarity with FPGA development and debugging tools
Understanding of embedded systems and digital interfaces
Python or scripting experience is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred Experience
FPGA toolchains such as Vivado, Quartus, or similar
Simulation and debugging environments
Embedded hardware systems and digital communication protocols
