About the Role - In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal part in defining the design and system architecture for complex FPGA solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass developing VHDL/Verilog code for various system blocks, designing on-chip microcontroller-based subsystems, and creating testbenches, test cases, timing simulations, and coverage analyses. Additionally, you will be involved in place & route flows, pin-mapping, and timing optimization using Xilinx Vivado/ISE and Altera Quartus tools.


Responsibilities -
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop FPGA RTL using Verilog / System Verilog / VHDL
Implement and integrate designs on FPGA platforms for prototyping and validation
Collaborate with RTL and SoC teams to support pre‑silicon verification and bring‑up
Perform synthesis, place‑and‑route, timing closure, and bitstream generation
Debug functional, timing, and interface issues on FPGA hardware
Support high‑speed interfaces and complex peripherals
Work closely with board, firmware, and validation teams for system‑level testing
Optimize FPGA designs for performance, power, and resource utilization
Participate in design reviews, debug sessions, and customer technical discussions
Experience with serial protocols such as Ethernet, USB 3.0, SATA, PCIe, etc. Moreover, a strong background in FPGA validation on board and debugging using JTAG debuggers is essential.
Proficiency in Tcl and Python scripting is highly desirable.


Qualifications - BE/BTech/ME/MTech degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecom, or Computer Engineering and


Required Skills
Experience in FPGA design and development
Proficiency in VHDL/Verilog coding
Knowledge of Xilinx Vivado/ISE and Altera Quartus tools
Experience with serial protocols such as Ethernet, USB 3.0, SATA, PCIe, etc.
Strong background in FPGA validation and debugging using JTAG debuggers
Proficiency in Tcl and Python scripting
