FPGA Design Engineer – Embedded Control Systems

This is 100% onsite role in Fremont, CA 94538. Regular shift M-F, 40 hours per week.

Looking for and Engineer with experience in FPGA design and implementation for embedded control systems Cross-functional collaboration (systems, software, electrical, mechanical) HW/SW/FPGA partitioning and architecture ownership Interface design for sensors, actuators, and industrial peripherals

Required Qualifications:
Semiconductor capital equipment power distribution design experience
Experience with PCB design process
Has experience in applying system design models like the Systems “VEE”
Appreciates learning and understanding challenges and limitations within other disciplines on system designs
Understanding of system integration into customer facility
Willingness to travel to international locations
Leadership skills, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Ownership & accountability, Collaboration

Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications.
Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results.
Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
May also review vendor capability to support product development.
