SearchPros is hiring 20 experienced FPGA and ASIC engineers to support advanced, mission-critical programs for a leading Aerospace & Defense client in El Segundo, CA.
We have two engineering teams hiring simultaneously and are seeking candidates with strong digital hardware fundamentals who can clearly speak to their individual technical contributions, design decisions, debugging methodology, and ownership of deliverables.
FPGA Design Engineers — 10 Openings
Engineers will support FPGA top-level design and integration, including development of new functional blocks and interfaces and integration of third-party and internally developed IP cores.
Responsibilities include synthesis, simulation, constraint development, Place & Route, timing closure, FPGA programming, and hardware/software system integration and testing.
Key Qualifications:
5+ years of FPGA and/or ASIC design experience
Strong Xilinx/AMD Vivado experience
Experience with Versal family devices
Verilog/SystemVerilog HDL proficiency
Advanced FPGA implementation experience, including:
Synthesis
Timing closure
Constraints
Place & Route
Experience supporting system integration and testing
Active U.S. Secret Clearance
Experience with Xilinx Versal, Ultrascale and Ultrascale+ devices is highly desirable.
Verification Engineers — 10 Openings
We are seeking engineering-minded verification professionals who understand digital hardware and verification architecture—not simply engineers who execute or write test cases.
Engineers will support complex verification efforts involving planning, constrained-random verification, debugging, coverage analysis and closure.
Key Qualifications:
7+ years of verification experience preferred; 5+ years may be considered with strong UVM expertise
2+ years of UVM experience
Strong SystemVerilog and UVM
Self-checking and constrained-random verification
Verification planning
Debugging and root-cause analysis
Coverage analysis and coverage closure
Strong digital hardware fundamentals
Active U.S. Secret Clearance
What We're Looking For
Across both teams, successful engineers will:
Exercise strong engineering judgment and technical ownership
Work independently with minimal oversight
Communicate clearly and proactively
Produce high-quality technical documentation
Develop maintainable engineering solutions
Clearly articulate their personal technical contributions, design decisions and debugging approach
Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or a related technical discipline preferred.
Advanced technical education combined with significant directly related engineering experience will be considered. ABET-accredited engineering programs are preferred but not required.
