Job Role
We are seeking an experienced FPGA Design Engineer with expertise in VHDL programming and RFSoC-based FPGA development. The role involves studying technical papers and patents, conducting advanced research, developing reusable FPGA-based IPs compatible with LabVIEW FPGA as well as other FPGA platforms, and contributing to innovative solutions across computational and embedded domains.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, optimize, and verify FPGA solutions using VHDL across multiple FPGA platforms.
Develop reusable and portable VHDL IPs compatible with LabVIEW FPGA and standard FPGA toolchains.
Research and analyze technical papers, patents, standards, and emerging technologies.
Perform simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, debugging, and hardware validation.
Collaborate with R&D teams on innovation-driven product and prototype development.
Contribute to technical documentation and IP generation initiatives.

Mandatory Skills
Strong expertise in VHDL programming and FPGA development.
Hands-on experience with RFSoC (Radio Frequency System-on-Chip) is mandatory.
Experience developing platform-independent and reusable FPGA IP architectures.
Familiarity with LabVIEW FPGA integration along with Xilinx, Intel/Altera, or similar FPGA ecosystems.
Strong understanding of RTL design, timing closure, simulation, and hardware debugging.
Experience with FPGA development and verification tools such as Vivado, ModelSim, or equivalent.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills
Experience in FPGA-based signal processing, AI acceleration, control systems, or high-speed data processing.
Experience with embedded systems, SoC platforms, or hardware-software co-design.
Exposure to Verilog/SystemVerilog and advanced FPGA optimization techniques.
Prior involvement in patents, research publications, or innovation-led R&D programs.
Experience with PYNQ, Jupyter Notebook, RFDC (RF Data Converter), ADC/DAC interfaces, and AXI protocols will be an added advantage.
