Manufacturing is one of the world’s largest industries, yet much of it still runs on workflows that software and AI haven’t fully captured.

Our client is building AI systems that learn directly from factory environments to improve real-time decision-making on the production floor — helping manufacturers increase uptime, quality, and efficiency.

Backed by experienced founders and top-tier investors, they’re now hiring an Applied AI Engineer to build production-grade AI systems that operate in messy, real-world environments.

You’ll work on:
• Multi-modal data ingestion pipelines
• Retrieval and reasoning systems
• Evaluation and feedback loops
• Backend APIs and cloud infrastructure
• Reliability, diagnostics, and observability

What they’re looking for:
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals
• Experience building and shipping AI/ML systems
• Fluency in TypeScript, data systems, and cloud infrastructure
• Ownership mindset and ability to move quickly in ambiguity

Bonus: Frontend experience with modern JS frameworks.
