The Role
You ship production-grade products in weeks, not quarters. You are an AI-native generalist who treats modern AI IDEs as a force multiplier — but you own the architecture, the quality, and the production-readiness that AI can't. You'll be one of two engineers on a single startup idea, acting as a high-output IC while setting the technical "rails" and mentoring your Full Stack partner. You report to the problem, and often directly to the founder.

What You'll Do
Ship 0-to-1: Take an ambiguous problem statement from a founder and turn it into a live, production-grade product in weeks — frontend, backend, data, and integrations.
Build AI-native: Use Cursor / Windsurf / Claude Code / Copilot as your default workflow. You have strong opinions on where they accelerate you and where they need a human architect.
Own the whole stack: Modern frontend, backend services, data layer, and third-party + LLM API integrations. No throwing work over a wall.
Set the rails: Establish architecture, code standards, and review discipline for your Junior FS partner — so velocity doesn't become tech debt.
Make production-grade calls: Auth, security, error handling, observability, and graceful failure — you know the difference between a demo and a system that survives real users.

AI-Native Velocity: A track record of shipping real products fast with AI tooling. We flex on years for the right portfolio — a sharp builder who ships beats a long résumé that doesn't.
Production Taste: You instinctively harden what you build. You've scaled something real and felt the consequences of cutting the wrong corner.
Founder-Grade Ownership: High autonomy, high accountability, and the EQ to mentor a junior partner rather than just out-code them.
Bias to Ship: Comfort with ambiguity and a deep discomfort with sitting still.

Technical Keywords We Value
Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind.
Backend: Node.js / Python / Java (language-agnostic); REST/GraphQL; PostgreSQL.
AI-Native Dev: Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, v0.
AI App Layer: LLM API integration (OpenAI / Anthropic), RAG pipelines, vector DBs (Pinecone / pgvector).
Cloud: AWS preferred or GCP/Azure. Docker and Kubernetes.
