Founding Engineer (NYC, Onsite)
We’re working with an early-stage, VC-incubated startup hiring their first full-time engineer, with a clear path to Head of Engineering / CTO as the company scales.

What they’re building
A health tech-focused system designed to dynamically optimize digital user experiences in real time, leveraging data and decisioning to improve performance.

The role
This is a true founding engineer position working directly with the CEO. You’ll own large parts of the product from day one and help define both the technical direction and the overall product experience.

What you’ll be doing
Build backend decisioning systems that power real-time personalization
Develop data pipelines and retrieval systems to support dynamic user experiences
Contribute across the stack, including frontend and AI integrations
Work closely with early customers to iterate on product and use cases
Help shape engineering culture, architecture, and long-term technical vision

What they’re looking for
Strong full-stack engineer with solid backend and data fundamentals
Product-minded and comfortable operating in ambiguity
Interest in AI/LLMs (hands-on experience or side projects is a plus)
Ability to move quickly and take ownership in a 0→1 environment
Willingness to engage with customers when needed

Tech stack
Python, GCP, containerized infrastructure (Docker), with emerging AI/LLM components
