Devlogic are working with a pre-seed applied AI lab in New York City tackling one of the most underestimated problems in enterprise software.
Making business data systems talk to each other.
Every company speaks a different data language — different formats, schemas, structures, rules, meanings.
The next generation of enterprise systems will translate between them automatically. This lab is building the machine intelligence that powers that layer.
It's deep, hard, infrastructure-level work — and it's already in production with a major enterprise customer, where it's cut onboarding cycle time and mapping errors by 50%.
Pre-seed funded. Research publishes at top-tier venues. Technical PhD founder
The role:
Own it. Build product, implement novel research ideas, contribute to published papers, ship open-source work. This is a ground-floor, owner-operator position with equity that reflects that.
You:
Build for fun. Hackathons, side projects, shipped products — you have the receipts
Can't implement a feature without thinking "and we could also..."
Want to work alongside PhD researchers on genuinely unsolved problems
Want end-to-end ownership, not a ticket queue
Are in NYC or ready to relocate
Offer:

Full-time, on-site NYC
Authorship on 3+ research papers per year
Meals on weekend office days
