We're working with an AI startup that's going after a slow-moving, high-value corner of institutional finance that hasn't had real competition in years.
The founding team has operated at the most senior levels of this industry. They know the problem inside out, have the relationships to open doors, and have design partners ready and waiting.
The product is defined. The funding is in place. They need the engineer to build it.
What you'll do
• Own the full stack — frontend, API, data model, auth
• Ship the first end-to-end product loop
• Work directly with the CTO and founders daily
• Help set the engineering bar for future hires
What they're looking for
12+ months as a founding, ex-founder or early-stage engineer — with something real to show for it. Production systems, real users, trade-offs you've lived with.
• Strong TypeScript, React, typed APIs, clean data modelling
• Autonomous and comfortable with ambiguity
• Communicates well with founders and customers, not just engineers
• LLM/RAG experience is a plus, not a must
