Founding Engineer (Backend-Leaning) | San Francisco | $150K–$250K + Equity

I’m working with an early-stage startup building an end-to-end platform to remove manual work for finance teams. They have strong demand and are now hiring a founding engineer to help take the product to market.

The Role
Build core systems: API integrations, data reconciliation (incl. LLMs), and user-facing tools
Own architecture and key technical decisions from day one
Work directly on a product being actively used by customers

What They’re Looking For
3–8 years’ experience (backend-leaning, strong system design)
Proven experience shipping production systems
Comfortable owning projects end-to-end in fast-paced environments

Tech
TypeScript, React

On-site
San Francisco (5 days/week)
