Company Description

TransVoix is a high-growth voice infrastructure platform building real-time multilingual translation that preserves vocal identity. After generating massive interest at CCW Vegas 2026 from industry leaders like Sinch and Five9, TransVoix is scaling its carrier-grade audio pipeline and launching a public SDK for global enterprise developers.

Job Description

As the first engineering hire at TransVoix, you will architect and scale a real-time audio pipeline serving enterprise contact centers and AI voice agents. You’ll own the transition to AWS, harden multi-tenant security, and design the versioned SDK that global developers will depend on for years.

Location

Phoenix, USA

Why this role is remarkable

Incredible market pull: Major industry players including Sinch and Five9 are already requesting demos and SDK access following a breakout showing at CCW Vegas 2026.
High-stakes ownership: You are the founding engineer with a clear path to CTO, owning everything from sub-second latency audio pipelines to the cryptographic voice provenance infrastructure.
Advanced tech stack: Work with a sophisticated async Python/FastAPI backend and real-time audio components that outperform standard solutions, maintaining speaker identity across bidirectional translation.

What You Will Do

Design and maintain the core voice pipeline ensuring sub-second latency and high-fidelity vocal cloning across 15+ languages using STT, translation, and TTS.
Architect the public-facing developer SDK and sandbox environment, establishing the permanent API contracts that enterprise customers will use to integrate TransVoix capabilities.
Lead the infrastructure migration to AWS using Terraform while implementing C2PA cryptographic provenance and SOC 2-ready multi-tenant security patterns across the platform.

The ideal candidate

Deep production experience building carrier-grade voice pipelines, specifically handling WebRTC, WebSocket audio framing, and low-latency jitter management at an infrastructure-grade scale.
Mastery of asynchronous Python (FastAPI/asyncio) and React/TypeScript, with a history of shipping stable, versioned APIs or SDKs for external developer consumption.
Architectural mindset focused on multi-tenant security and Infrastructure as Code, capable of leading build-vs-buy decisions for self-hosted model inference and GPU infrastructure.
