Acarin Inc is seeking a skilled Forward Deployment Engineer to join our IT consulting team in Columbia, Maryland. This role combines cutting-edge AI/LLM development with enterprise contact center integrations, requiring strong technical expertise and customer-facing skills. The ideal candidate will work directly with clients to design, implement, and deploy AI-powered solutions in complex enterprise environments.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

• Develop and deploy AI agents and LLM applications using modern frameworks, including prompt engineering, tool calling, guardrails, and evaluation systems with OpenAI, Anthropic, and similar platforms
• Design and implement robust backend APIs and REST/JSON services with proper authentication mechanisms (API keys, OAuth) and clean multi-service integrations
• Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise clients to map call flows, interaction patterns, and integration requirements
• Integrate AI solutions with contact center platforms including Amazon Connect, Five9, Genesys, and CRM systems like Salesforce through APIs and webhooks
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, and Azure, utilizing services like IAM, Lambda, EC2, S3, and CloudWatch for production environments
• Implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes, managing pods, services, and environments across development, staging, and production
• Conduct on-site and remote client engagements, explaining technical tradeoffs and aligning solutions with business requirements alongside PM and sales teams
• Create comprehensive technical documentation including design documents, sequence diagrams, runbooks, and deployment procedures
• Monitor and debug AI workflows using logging and tracing tools, analyzing metrics to optimize LLM behavior and system performance
• Manage go-live processes, hypercare support, and smooth handoffs to ongoing support teams

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Proven experience with LLM/AI agent development and prompt engineering
• Strong programming skills with hands-on experience in backend development and API design
• Demonstrated expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) including infrastructure management and debugging
• Experience with contact center platforms (CCaaS) and enterprise integrations
• Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with configuration management using YAML/JSON and Git workflows

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬

• Advanced analytics and programming capabilities
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML concepts and implementation
• Proficiency with REST/JSON APIs, authentication protocols, and tools like Postman/OpenAPI
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, ELK stack, or similar)
• Excellent technical communication and documentation skills
• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities
• Customer-facing skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts
• Project management and cross-functional collaboration experience

• Previous experience in IT consulting or client-facing technical roles
• Certifications in AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms
• Experience with specific CCaaS platforms (Amazon Connect, Five9, Genesys)
• Familiarity with CRM integrations, particularly Salesforce
• Experience with AI evaluation frameworks and tools like Langfuse
• Background in telecommunications or call center operations
