🚀 🚀 Forward Deployed Software Engineer
Triumphant Nerd has partnered with a major defense client to build next-generation Command & Control (C2) software for autonomous systems supporting operational and tactical missions.
We’re searching for Forward Deployed (Front-End) Software Engineers to develop, integrate, and deploy mission-critical full-stack software across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments. This role sits at the intersection of AI, robotics, autonomy, and real-world deployment. There are multiple openings in SF Bay, DC, NYC, Seattle, and Denver. **Relo to DC is provided.
What You’ll Do:
Build and deploy full-stack autonomy software solutions
Integrate AI, sensor fusion, and robotic control systems
Support cloud, hybrid, and on-prem deployments
Partner with teams across AI, robotics, and systems engineering
Deliver scalable solutions for complex mission environments
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of software engineering experience
Strong skills in JS/TS, Python, Rust, or Java
Experience with React and modern deployment environments
Knowledge of APIs, CI/CD, Linux, networking, and automation tools
Active U.S. Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one
Ability to travel 25% to 75%
