This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer - META in Israel.
This role sits at the intersection of advanced software engineering, enterprise architecture, and customer-facing problem solving. You will work directly with strategic customers across complex environments, helping them adopt and scale a leading DevSecOps and AI-enabled platform. The position blends hands-on engineering with solution design, requiring you to navigate regulated, self-managed, and large-scale enterprise deployments. You will translate real-world customer challenges into durable technical solutions, reusable assets, and architectural patterns that scale beyond a single engagement. Working closely with product, engineering, and customer teams, you will influence both adoption outcomes and long-term platform evolution. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where technical depth and customer empathy go hand in hand.
Accountabilities
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead deep technical engagements with strategic enterprise customers, shaping how they adopt and scale complex DevSecOps and AI-driven capabilities. You will operate across discovery, architecture design, implementation guidance, and solution acceleration while ensuring alignment between customer needs and platform capabilities. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting in-depth technical discovery to assess customer environments, constraints, and adoption opportunities
Designing end-to-end architecture and deployment strategies for complex enterprise and regulated environments
Building prototypes, proofs of concept, and reusable technical accelerators across CI/CD, security, and AI workflows
Architecting self-managed and hybrid deployments, including runners, governance, observability, and integration layers
Translating recurring field challenges into reusable assets such as reference architectures, runbooks, and technical guides
Contributing to upstream engineering improvements when customer needs reveal product or platform gaps
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, repeatable adoption across accounts
Requirements
This role requires strong software engineering foundations combined with deep systems thinking and customer-facing experience. You should be comfortable operating in ambiguous enterprise environments, bridging the gap between product capabilities and real-world deployment constraints. Key requirements include:
Experience in software engineering, platform engineering, solutions architecture, or forward deployed engineering roles
Strong programming fundamentals with ability to work in production systems (ideally Ruby on Rails or Go)
Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and system design principles
Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, runners, pipelines, and API integrations
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm
Exposure to AI/LLM concepts, agentic workflows, and production constraints of AI systems
Strong communication skills with ability to engage senior technical and business stakeholders
Proven ability to create reusable technical artifacts and scalable engineering solutions
Benefits
Fully remote work with global collaboration opportunities
Equity compensation and potential participation in employee stock programs
Flexible paid time off and parental leave policies
Dedicated growth and development funding
Home office support to enable productive remote work
Employee resource groups supporting inclusion and community
Opportunity to work on cutting-edge DevSecOps and AI-driven engineering challenges in enterprise environments
