Forward Deployed Engineer - FinTech Start-Up

Rapidly growing Series A start-up that is building, continually refining, and already deploying an AI Agentic platform that delivers AI-driven insights to drive revenue growth in the hedge fund and investment management sectors is looking to hire a talented Forward Deployed Engineer with 5-12 years experience. This individual will work closely with the CTO and Founders in New York City.

We are looking for someone who combines serious software engineering and who is a client-facing operator — someone who can gather requirements from portfolio managers, then turn around and build the solution on the spot. This is a high-urgency, high-impact role at a firm that is already running in production and managing tens of billions in AUM.

What we’re looking for:
~5-12 years of experience in full- stack or applied AI/ML software engineering or forward deployed engineering
Strong python coding skills
Hands- on agentic AI fluency (Claude Code, LangChain, tool use, multi- step reasoning)
Someone who has guilt and shipped client- facing production agentic AI systems and workflows/automations end- to- end (2+ years)
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science or similar)
Clear, concise communication skills

Compensation is highly competitive and contingent on experience. Would include an equity component
This is a hybrid role, with offices’ being in Midtown Manhattan
