We’re partnering with a fast-growing deep tech company building next-generation IoT infrastructure that connects everyday products and packaging to the internet through ultra-low-power sensing technology. We’re hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to help enterprise customers deploy and scale intelligent IoT solutions in production environments.
Founded by a team behind foundational 5G innovation, the company is now transforming how global enterprises track, manage, and understand physical goods across retail, supply chain, food, and pharmaceutical environments.
Backed by some of the world’s leading investors and strategic partners, the team is scaling quickly and looking for a customer-facing engineer who thrives at the intersection of software, deployment, and real-world operations.
This is a highly cross-functional role combining:
Solution engineering
Technical deployment
Customer collaboration
Systems integration
Field problem solving
You’ll work directly with customers as well as internal product and engineering teams to turn operational workflows into scalable technical solutions.
Location: New York City (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
What You’ll Do
Lead technical deployments for enterprise customers
Translate customer workflows into scalable solution architectures
Design and implement end-to-end integrations and deployments
Build scripts, prototypes, and integration tooling
Troubleshoot production deployment challenges
Run onboarding sessions, workshops, and technical discussions
Partner with product and engineering teams to influence roadmap decisions
Help customers expand and scale successful implementations
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, technical consulting, or similar roles
Experience working directly with customers in technical environments
Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Ability to operate independently in complex, fast-moving environments
Nice to Have
Experience with IoT systems, supply chain technology, or hardware-enabled platforms
Experience designing technical architectures and integrations
Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or scripting for automation
Experience supporting enterprise-scale deployments
