About M Moser
MMoser was founded in 1981 by 3 people.
Today we are a company of 1,300 architects, designers, MEPF engineers, commercial managers, construction professionals, and project leaders working across more than 30 locations around the world. Our offices span all major regions except South America, although our project experience includes South America as well, especially Brazil.
Our core business is workplace facilities. Much of that work has historically been corporate interiors, but we are increasingly engaged in workplace buildings from the ground up. Our projects range from around 20,000 sq. ft to 1,500,000 sq. ft. Clients typically engage MMoser to handle the full AEC and project management challenge of creating a workplace facility: design, architecture, engineering, commercial delivery, project leadership, and the wider execution required to bring a workplace environment successfully into being.
What has made MMoser distinctive is not only technical range, but the way the firm has grown. We have grown by being deeply client-centric and by earning long-term trust. We have built a large repeat client base among global corporations across industries and geographies because clients come to us for serious help on difficult workplace challenges.
Inside MMoser, one simple phrase has often captured that spirit: WE SELL HELP.
That phrase is not casual. It describes the substance of the firm. Clients come to us because they need help thinking clearly, designing well, engineering well, coordinating complexity, managing commercial risk, controlling delivery, and building confidence through the life of a project.
MMoser is also unusual in another way. The firm is still led by its founders, who remain highly entrepreneurial and deeply engaged. They are now in their 70s, but still young in mind, still ambitious, and still willing to reinvent the company when they believe the next move matters.
The current move toward becoming a stronger hybrid human/AI firm is being driven by them directly.
We do not see AI as a side tool or a fashionable topic. We see it as part of the next major evolution of professional practice. We believe the future will belong to firms that can use AI to strengthen judgement, workflow quality, visual thinking, project coordination, commercial clarity, and delivery discipline—without weakening accountability.
That is the context in which MMoser is building the AI Tech Team.
Why We Are Building the AI Tech Team
MMoser is building the AI Tech Team because we believe the future of professional practice will increasingly belong to hybrid human/AI professionals, and because AI itself is moving rapidly into a more agentic age.
By hybrid human/AI professionals, we do not mean people who casually use AI tools. We mean professionals whose thinking, workflow organization, visual interpretation, structured analysis, communication, and day-to-day effectiveness are meaningfully strengthened through AI, while human judgement and accountability remain central.
By the agentic age of AI, we mean the shift from simple prompting toward AI systems that can carry out multi-step tasks, coordinate workflows, assemble outputs, and support real professional work in more a
Job Role: Forward Deployed Engineers
Location : North America ( Location in the country is flexible)
Work where real expertise meets agentic capability
Role Overview:
The Forward Deployed Engineers are the part of the AI Tech Team that stays closest to live professional practice.
Their role is to work with:
architects
engineers
project directors
commercial leaders
construction professionals
They observe real work, identify where AI can create value, and convert those insights into:
tools
workflows
and increasingly agent-supported methods that can be used more broadly across the firm.
What This Role Is (and Is Not)
This is:
A practice-embedded capability role
A bridge between real work and AI systems
A builder role focused on useful outcomes
This is NOT:
A remote innovation lab role
A project delivery role
A replacement for design or engineering professionals
Forward Deployed Engineers do not do project work themselves. They help the firm learn from project work and build capability around it.
Core Mission:
As AI moves into a more agentic phase, the role shifts from simple prompting to:
redesigning workflows
structuring decisions
improving coordination
building repeatable methods
You will help answer questions like:
How can design teams think through options better?
How can engineers structure decisions more clearly?
How can project leaders review issues more effectively?
How can commercial clarity be improved?
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with project teams to observe real workflows
Identify where AI can create practical value
Develop tools, workflows, and agent patterns
Translate local insights into firm-wide capability
Collaborate with the Central AI Platform R&D Group
Feed useful practices into broader adoption via the Help Desk
